What a week-end! Sebastian Schipper isn’t wrong in his awarded film Victoria.Berlin nights are a specialty and I bet what happens in Berlin will never occur to you anywhere else!

Berlin Lesen Geschäft Berlin Stories Spatzen aufräumen Berlin StoriesThe Gaslight Anthem concert on Thursday was a blast. It was so good I even forgot to take a picture. That says it all! We spend our Friday with Brunch at “Frau Anna Blume”. A nice Café in Prenzlauer Berg with a variety of breakfast options! Included were our small bird-servants who cleaned our table already while we were still eating. Save your bread anyone!

Berlin StoriesWe spend the day wandering through Prenzlauer Berg until it was time for the Midsommar celebrations to begin.

Berlin Stories Berlin Stories Berlin Stories Berlin StoriesThe “Bikini Berlin” is an innovative shopping mall concept. It’s an amazing building full of small designer stores. And it is just near the Zoo. So there’s a big window where you can watch apes. Or they can watch you. The rooftop reminds me a little of the “High Lane” in New York!

Berlin StoriesAnd there in the Bikini I met my friend Betty who takes care of her sisters clothing store “Sara Lux” right now! I’ll do a little feature about this shop for Lilac&Vermilion!

Berlin Stories Berlin is full of friends. So after 5 years Tobi and I took the same picture in front of the same Graffiti again. It still exists!

Berlin Stories Berlin StoriesThere was cider, and not-so-typical-but-so-good food, swedish Midsommar games and a perfect final group-picture in the end.

After the bucket-challenge Tobi and Lucas decided that one swedish quest was enough. So they burned the Gothenburg quiz I wanted to take as well 😦

Berlin StoriesOf course there was dancing around the pole. Thank you Norr Magazin and From Up North! The evening was so much fun!

Because of the cold we went on to a bar in Kreuzberg. Somehow we managed coming home around 7 in the morning as we tried to help one of Tobi’s friends to find a way back into his apartment, drove around half the town to get his spare key…and drunk some “Pfeffi” (a disgusting mint snaps) from a “Späti” (a supermarket where you can buy stuff 24/7) What a night! What a midsommar party!
