You know that feeling when you find an idea that should have been realized way earlier? Today I stumbled over Federico Babina, an italian architect and designer and his series “Archist“.
He brings paintings from abstract artists to life as houses. I recently wrote an article about how the Idea oft the Concrete emerged from the image-space into the 3D world through architecture. Therefore this campaign was like an arrow to my heart!
Have a look for yourself, the idea is not only for a design-nerd like me a nice leap of imagination.

I’ll definitely buy some pictures of this series! I want to make a wall-installation with three of them! I just can’t decide which ones to choose…maybe Malevich, Lichtenstein and Miro…but I’m also fan of what he made of Richter…
Check out his gallery on society6 and help me decide, please!
