Pad Thai / original

I killed you with all my japanese food, so now it’s time for something new: original Thai Pad-Thai. The well known and loved dish.

I tried to take some photographs while cooking for giving you a step by step guide.

You need:

main ingredience:

100g rice noodles

100g Tofu (not the glibbery one you put into miso-soup!)

100g chicken breast

100g sprouts

4 garlic cloves

2 spring onions

2 eggs

for the taste:

a spoonful of brown sugar, oyster sauce, fish-sauce, peanuts, chilli and one lime!

Depending if you’re using fresh noodles or dried rice noodles you need to put them into warm water and let them soak.

Then start out with heating up some sesame-oil (or any other neutral oil). Put in the garlic then the chicken and the tofu. Stir it for a minute and put it aside or take it out. Now put in the eggs, let them crumble and then put in the drained noodles. Mash everything together and season it with the fish.sauce, oyster sauce and brown sugar. Finally put in the sprouts and spring onions.

You should have ready everything in advance. If you wait to long between the steps your noodles will turn into some undefinable mass.

Put everything on a plate an decorate with peanuts and the lime!
