I recently watched Tom DeLonges movie based on the Angel and Airwaves album called “Love”. Except from me liking astronauts and itellectual movies generally, this piece of art combines the amazing music of AvA, philosophical discourses about the human race by and large, as well as theories about emotions and social bounding. And there is this deep solitude and melancholia that just captures you for one and a half hour. Homesickness and the longing for human touch are feelings everyone knows, but what if you’re isolated in space?
I pesonally love the scene when he nearly opens the hook connecting him with the ISS…it’s like cutting his umbilical cord and to me the moment of highest tention.
